I’d really planned to take the summer off. But the desert blazing full force has me captured. So I’m back. Brilliant light, bleaching color to essence. The landscape, stripped to structure. A draughtsman’s dream. Here, a Twelfth Street median tree rendered in graphite, over a ground of Zink White and Titan Buff.
